Project: Printworks Restaurant At Leeds City College

February 6th, 2018

We get excited about all of our client’s venue design projects, but Printworks Kitchen and Bar’s unique concept was definitely one to share. The recently refurbished restaurant offers commercial and catering experience to hundreds of students at Leeds City College. It’s run by students and apprentices on the college’s Professional Cookery and Food and Drink Service courses under the supervision of industry professional chefs and restaurant management.

Situated in the thriving South Bank area of Leeds, Printworks is in a historic print hall built in 1881. The building was essential to Leeds’ manufacturing industry and now is part of Leeds City College.

Products used in Printworks:

  • Bono chairs with and without buttons in a mixture of fabrics; Malone Oxford Tan, Ruby and Moon dales, Malham green
  • Rustic reclaimed timber table tops and continental pedestals
  • Lupo high stools in fabrics as per chairs
  • Float button back fixed seating
